As the Sustainable Development and Environment Association ("SUDEAS"), we would like to share our web page (www.sudeas.orgWe would like to inform you about what kind of information it collects and what kind of information it ignores from site users, visitors, members, business partners and, if any, their authorized/employees and natural persons who contact it by any means of communication during your use of the ("Site").

This Data Protection and Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") aims to inform you about our privacy and security measures we have taken regarding the personal data of the above-mentioned persons and your rights regarding your personal data. The Privacy Policy explains our methods of processing, collecting, storing and using such personal data. Our Privacy Policy is available both on our homepage and on every page where personal data of users and visitors are collected. 

  1. PERSONAL DATA and PRIVACY

The data of the aforementioned natural persons are collected, stored and processed in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), which regulates the protection of personal data in Turkey, and the secondary legislation and decisions of the Personal Data Protection Board (all together referred to as "Data Protection Legislation"), limited to the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. 

SUDEAS takes the measures determined in accordance with the Data Protection Legislation and other applicable legislation to protect personal data. Personal data is collected, stored and processed to be used to the extent permitted by the Data Protection Legislation when necessary. 

Personal data will not be transferred to third parties other than SUDEAS and service providers with a confidentiality obligation that it purchases services through a service and/or work contract and the persons specified in this Privacy Policy. Representatives of SUDEAS and third parties from whom SUDEAS purchases services have the obligation to protect the confidentiality of the personal data in question and not to share it with third parties other than those listed above without the consent of the owner of the personal data. 

  1. PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION and PURPOSE

SUDEAS uses information about users' use of services on the Site to track user traffic patterns and to design better services for users. Unless otherwise stated, the information collected through the Site may be used to improve the content of the Site, to tailor the Site to your needs based on your preferences, and for other purposes set forth herein. 

SUDEAS may also process your personal data within the scope of the relationship to be established with it for the following purposes: 

- Carrying out the activities, promotion and membership relations of our association, 

- Carrying out communication activities, - Creating and monitoring visitor records, 

- Execution of contractual processes, including but not limited to procurement of services and products, 

- Execution of activities in accordance with the relevant legislation,

- Managing events such as organizations, meetings, etc,

- Providing information to the authorized administrative units based on the obligations arising from the relevant legislation. 

  1. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA 

Personal data may be shared with SUDEAS's suppliers and business partners who have confidentiality obligations, limited to the requirements of the relationship between you and SUDEAS and taking the measures stipulated in the Data Protection Legislation. The processing of personal data to be collected will be carried out within the scope of the legal reasons that data processing is mandatory for the establishment, use and protection of a right, and will be transferred to the event contractor party, which is the executor of the sponsorship files and contracts, based on the same purpose and legal reason, in accordance with subparagraphs (d) and (e) of paragraph 2 of Article 5 of the Law.

In addition, we may use your personal data and share it with the competent administrative authorities in order to audit and/or ensure SUDEAS' compliance with the legislation without the need for explicit consent, limited to the purposes of fulfilling our obligations arising from the applicable legislation in Turkey. 

Your personal data may be disclosed in the presence of one of the following situations: 

  • Regulatory requirements; 
  • To ensure the safety of the public or our Association; 
  • For the purpose of fulfilling a judicial proceeding, a court order or a legal process, or

We may disclose your personal data to third party service providers in order to carry out our activities (for example, to receive support in information systems management and storage, data analysis, etc.). 

However, we may share your personal data with third parties who assist us with such communications, unless you opt out of receiving communications other than direct promotional and membership notifications. 

  1. DATA TRANSFER ABROAD

Your personal data may be recorded, processed and transferred abroad for these reasons by SUDEAS and service providers with a confidentiality obligation, from which SUDEAS purchases services through a service and/or work contract, in global data processing systems used for the effective execution of activities. 

  1. COOKIES AND INTERNET LABELS

Cookies and similar technologies are tools that enable instant information to be received and provided to users who use the Website. SUDEAS uses cookies to control the traffic of this website. Users and visitors are deemed to have accepted cookies by using this website. Cookies do not harm computers. Users can set their browsers to warn them when a "cookie" enters their computers, so they have the option to accept or reject the cookie. However, not accepting cookies may prevent the Site from performing its functions efficiently. 

This Site uses Google Analytics software to perform statistical analysis of visits to the Site. This software collects data on the number of visits and the time spent on the Site or its pages. In this way, SUDEAS may collect some statistical data that is automatically obtained during the use of the Site and is not recorded and used as personal data.

For this reason, SUDEAS does not give any guarantee to the users regarding the security and content of the linked websites. This website is not intended for children and individuals under the age of 18. Due to the importance of protecting the privacy of children, SUDEAS does not collect and use the information of individuals under the age of 18 for any purpose whatsoever without the express consent of their parents. Parents have the right to examine the information provided by the child upon request and / or to require their deletion. SUDEAS recommends that parents talk to their children about the use of the internet and the information provided on websites.
