His research interests are in the Modeling of Thermal Processing Operations, Optimization of Energy Utilization in Industrial Processes, the Use of Renewable Energy in Net-Zero Energy Buildings, Boiling Heat Transfer, and the Modeling of Free-Surface Flows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His research involves laboratory-scale experiments and numerical modelling techniques. His contributions have been disseminated in more than 120 scientific publications, books, and patents. Dr. Hamed has taught several undergraduate and graduate courses, including Fluid Mechanics, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Modeling of Thermal Processes, and Advanced Fluid Mechanics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has developed a number of technical courses for practicing engineers in the areas of Advanced Energy Management, Renewable Energy Systems, Optimization of Energy Efficiencies in Industrial Processes, and HVAC technologies.
