With over 15 years of research and teaching experience, he is a leading expert in renewable energy systems, biofuel combustion, and thermal sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in sustainable combustion and bioenergy. His interdisciplinary research spans:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Renewable and bio-based fuels<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thermodynamics and internal combustion engine performance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exergy and energy optimization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sustainable transport systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Varuvel has authored over 70 peer-reviewed journal articles in top-tier journals including <em>Applied Energy<\/em>, <em>Renewable Energy<\/em>, <em>Energy<\/em>, and <em>Fuel<\/em>. His pioneering studies on the use of non-edible oils like Calophyllum in diesel engines have opened new avenues for eco-friendly transport fuels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He collaborates extensively with institutions in India, France, and the UK, and serves as a reviewer for over 30 international journals.
